Our goal is to support exchange between creatives across Europe and post-soviet countries.
Having faced the decisions and challenges of becoming professionals in the music industry ourselves, we want to pass on our experiences and knowledge to others with OSTAR Music Networks. Especially those who might not have the chance of an academic musical education in their home countries.
What helped us most in finding our way in the music industry was connections and being free to follow our own projects. This is what we want to help others with in our programmes: Building relationships, being part of an intercultural network of aspiring creatives and feeling free to create and do their thing.
What’s important to us is our hands-on approach – giving real advice from experience to help develop potential and support others in becoming successful professionals in the music industry.
Ever since our first visit to Yekaterinburg, Russia, in 2017 we have been in awe of the creative potential, diversity and open-mindedness we encountered there. It came unexpected and showed us how a common goal can break up stereotypes so quickly and enable an open, unbiased dialogue.
This is why we strive to play a leading role in building creative collaborations on an international level, truly crossing borders between East and West.
